Verification Services
Challenges of Compliance
In most cases of anomaly, the effort of a single certification body is not sufficient to guarantee the credibility of a complex chain of products bearing a certification scheme label.
ASI quickly analyzes the issues raised (eg. by a complainant), classifies and sets priorities (complaint management), agrees with the scheme owner the desired output of verification (work order), determinates costs and assigns responsibilities and internal or external resources (certification bodies) for the verification needed.
ASI’s Competence
ASI is well-placed to solve this problem for the client (typically the scheme owner), because it has the technical field experience and expertise of a certification scheme and also a direct link and knowledge of the certification bodies.
ASI’s Compliance Services
- Receive, validate and analyze the inputs (formal complaint or notice or information)
- Agree the action needed with the scheme owner (work order proposal)
- Set the priority for action (timeline) and scope (what to obtain, who to involve, where to intervene)
- Coordinate the investigation and/or act on field compliance audit and/or desk review of evidences (records and documents).
- Deliver updated reports on the investigation to the scheme owner
- Feedback on analysis of the events and lessons learned
