Confidentiality in complaint investigations
All complainants must sign a confidentiality agreement in order for ASI to accept a complaint for investigation. For CBs and certification schemes, confidentiality is covered in our overall contractual arrangements. For certificate holders, confidentiality is part of their agreements with CBs. Breach of confidentiality may absolve ASI obligations with respect to the management of the complaint.
ASI does not accept anonymous complaints. Complainants identities are shared with the complaint parties and published in the final public summary.
