Accreditation of Certification Bodies
ASI accredits Certification Bodies to provide a credible assurance that they are competent and independent in providing certification services according to FSC Standards.
To ensure continued compliance with FSC requirements, ASI monitors FSC accredited Certification Bodies on a regular basis.
ASI accredited Certification Bodies are authorized to carry out two types of certification, Forest Management and Chain of Custody

FSC Applicant Certification Bodies (July 2008)
Applying for Certification Body Accreditation
Any independent body working in the area of Forest Management and/or Chain of Custody certification can apply for FSC accreditation.
